There are four types of mind/consciousness.
1.The, Super conscious.
Try reading stuff to help you understand 1, 3 and 4. That’ll take you a week, or ten. By the time you’ve done that you’ll be totally confused.
You could decide to go to uni and study these areas of mind.. That’ll take care of four years of your life. Plus of course you would have to study ‘A’ levels before they’ll even let you into uni. That’s another three or four years. So eight years to become an expert.
Take about three years and fifty one weeks off that and spend a week reading this post a few times. At the end of the week you’ll know all that you need to know to about 1, 2, 3, and 4.
OK, back to the consciousness things.
Here's what they mean to me.:
1. Is a load of mind- boggling, double -talk, expert- speak etc that is of no use in helping me to know,”How do I work?”
2. Means, I know what I’m thinking and what I do in response to my thoughts. It let’s me know how I’m working, operating, performing and living.
3. This is similar to 1. I know about it but will never really get to understand exactly how it effects me.
4. This is when I have no awareness of what’s happening to me or the world around me. It is usually caused by a bash on the head or when I’m undergoing some kind of major surgery.
There, it is then, that’s my take on the four areas of mind that we all have that help us to, 'operate' in and on our life.
(I know that the experts will totally give me a hard time over what I’ve written). That’s mainly because they need to justify and hold on to their....... power, mystique, need to be needed and over -priced help.
Now, think, about 1, 3 and 4. ........................
Finished? How many seconds did it take you? Two? Three? Four? It's 'cause, ya' Can't think about what ya' don't know about.
Now think about 2.
You can probably spend a few minutes thinking about this area of mind. That’s because we use it every day while we are awake and aware. We know how it works on the ordinary, everyday, how -we - work level. You think, “I’ll go for a walk”. You do the walk. You know what you thought. You know what you did.
Some years ago I thought, ”What does consciousness mean to me?”
What’s became important for me and I hope for you is that, with 2, we know that we are thinking and doing, know what we’re thinking and doing, we are in charge of what we’re thinking and doing. That’s where our power and responsibility over our life is based..
Well then, that’s my ‘take’ on this mind stuff. That’s how I work and operate on a daily basis. Unless you’re an alien, so do you.
Understanding, accepting and taking charge of ‘how I work’ has given me the most self - empowering insights on ‘better living’ than anything I have ever discovered. Now you know it, you can use it as well.
Conscious living means:
Knowing what you’re THINKING and DOING, being in control of what you’re THINKING and DOING, taking responsibility for what you’re THINKING and DOING.
What and how you THINK and DO creates the life you’ll HAVE.
So if your life is craaaaap. Learn to consciously, THINK and DO better.
THINKING better. + DOING better. = Living/HAVING a better life.
