HOW TO THINK YOURSELF MISERABLE, OR :

Hello and welcome,

Most of us claim we want to be happy, to have meaningful lives, enjoy ourselves, experience fulfilment, and share love and friendship with other people and maybe  even dogs, cats, birds, and stuff.

Strangely though, some people think, and therefore act  miserable, by choice. And so they succeed remarkably at inviting misery into their lives, even though they get little apparent benefit from it.

So, if you think/decide that you want to make yourself miserable below are the best, most proven thoughts that guarantee that you will become the most miserable person you could ever choose to be!

Being miserable can give other people the impression that you’re a wise and worldly person. This is more effective if you’re miserable not just about your life, but about society and the world in general. You can make others believe that you someone burdened by a form of insightful, tragic, knowledge that happy, shallow people can’t possibly understand.

So think the following thoughts regularly and I guarantee that you will be thoroughly miserable and will get sympathy from everyone you meet. You’ll need it!

So here are a few thoughts to use to habitually, ‘think yourself miserable’.

#1. "I will lose everything because of the economic climate."

#2. "I will be totally bored all the time."

#3. "I will always think negatively about myself".

#4. "I will find someone to start an argument with every day".

#5 "I will assume that everyone I meet dislikes me".

#6. "I will do everything just to please me. I’ll look after number 1".

#7. "I will avoid being grateful for anything".

#8. "I will make certain that I am always anxious, about everything".

#9. "I will always blame my parents for making me who I am".

#10. "I will make it a habit not to enjoy anything in life".

#11. "I will spend all my time thinking about ‘poor ‘ole me’.

#12. I will regularly think about how good things were when I was a child".

#13. "I will find someone today who I can ‘reform’ and make  miserable as well.

#14. "I will find something wrong with almost everything I face every day.

So, go THINK-DO- the above and HAVE a crummy, disempowering, sad life.

It’s unlikely that you can think all of these things on a regular basis.  Choose five of your favourites, the one’s that make you feel the most ‘hard done by’ and see how many times a day you can bring them up in conversation.

You could decide to think exactly the opposite of such thoughts, not think them at all or don't act on them and actually start to enjoy your life more.

"Being happy is a choice". Dr. Phil. No not me, the 'psychologist guy' on the Dr. Phil TV show.

Your feelings are created by your thoughts. Feelings follow thoughts. Thoughts are the foundation of everything you do, say and experience in life.

What you think and what you do, determine what becomes of you. Me.

If you want to change your life you first have to change your thoughts. That's where your power lies. It's the basis of Self -Empowerment.

Beneficially yours, always,

P.S. My sole objective with this Blog and every Post I write is to get my readers to understand accept that their/your thoughts are the foundation of the kind of life we each create for ourselves. Once you have read this or any of my Posts show it to, or talk about it with, your friends, family, workmates, dog etc. Let your friends know what you liked.
