What relationship with your future will you choose to have?

Do you think that ‘tomorrow is going to be better’ all by itself. In this case you are leaving it all to fate or luck, or whatever.

Do you think that yesterday, the past, was a lot better than today, that tomorrow, is just another  step closer to ‘the end’. Sorry, you can’t go back. Life doesn't work like that! So the only 'worth doing' way is, forward, different and better.

 Some people are adaptors and some are not."

An adaptor is a person who habitually thinks-forward in a clear and self-empowering way. They don’t just ‘accept’ what life throws at them. In order to adapt you have to adopt.

Adapt and adopt new thinking and doing habits that make each coming day,  something you can use to  inject life into your future,  days, weeks, months and years. Or you can continue to make it, just another ‘step to the end’ of your life.

When marketing their products in the so called self-improvement market, marketers 'market' either to, people who are eager for change, or to people who would prefer not to change. Which one are you?


We each have a personal choice, do we adopt and adapt or do we stagnate?

The future will happen every single day, like it or not. Tomorrow can be thought of as risky, frightening, etc.  Our future is either what we ‘plan’ for' 0r just ‘what happens ‘when we get there.

From now on do not think of tomorrow as just  ‘one step closer to the end’. But that it also brings with it the possibility of 'better' and the chance to do something that matters. This is in your  control through what you think and what you do.

So, now, this minute, THINK this, “Tomorrow I will ……………………… (something, different,  important, new, better, more creative, more self-empowering)” then tomorrow  actually DO it. When you put ‘thinking effort’ into your tomorrow, today, then you can change your tomorrow into a significant step closer to what is better for you

Whatever you choose, big or small,  life- changing or non-life changing then the tomorrow that you wake up to will have an objective, a new opportunity and not be just,  ‘one day nearer to the end’. It will be that anyway!  Or, you can turn the day  into one step, one day nearer to achieving some goal or another that is important to you.

If you don’t think today and act on something better, new, different or more beneficial tomorrow, what is the point of having a tomorrow?

Yes I know that we all need to habitually THINK and DO,  mundane, non-self- evolving, non-adapting things! But if that is all that you do on all your future tomorrows you can predict and see your future today. Like the view? If you don’t become excited by the view then go create new tomorrows, it’s all up to you.

I did that for twenty years.  Then one day, about five years ago, I became an adaptor and I adopted the strategies outlined here in my life, experienced the changes and I now want to encourage everyone I can to THINK and DO the same!

The contents of this Blog  are the tools that I used, and will continue to use for the rest of my life. Why? Because they work!
