FIVE 'WINNING' THOUGHTS TO 'THINK AND DO' EVERY DAY.
Hello and welcome,
There are always lots of things you may want to THINK and DO every day, but if among them you adopt the five ‘thought habits’ below, you will enjoy a happy and self-empowered life. Why? Because, your life begins with your thoughts and is made real by your actions)
Here they are:
#1: Eat healthy – your body will be pleased, eventually.
So every day think,“ I will eat the healthiest food I can today”. Then do it.
If you feed your body with rubbish, your health will be rubbish. The bad effects of poor diet take some time to show themselves. Changing to a healthier diet will take some weeks to have any beneficial effect on your health. Quite quickly you will be surprised how much better you feel. You will have more energy, be less tired during the day, sleep better and you will be able to concentrate better.
#2: Live life, ‘by the minute’.
So every day think, at least once, “I am happy as I am”. By thinking it you will feel happy. Think it and be it!!!!
Decide to be happy today. It doesn’t take a lot of effort. Take a walk with your dog or watch a happy film. I strongly recommend a film called “Hangover” and the sequel “Hangover 2”. My wife and I watched both today and spent about four hours almost unable to speak for laughing. THINK and DO all you can in order to be happy and to feel good right this moment. Don’t wait until tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. If you put off being happy for later you will never experience being happy. Think and be happy NOW!!
#3: Laugh a lot.(Or even just smile).
Think, “Today I will seek out things that make me laugh”. Then do it!!!
There are all sorts of things that make people laugh, a good comedy, a dog playing in the park, children having fun, someone telling you a joke, you telling a joke to someone else (then you both benefit). The more you laugh, the happier you will be and life is better when we are being happy and feeling simply great. This and #2 above are mutually beneficial.
#4: Carry out some level of exercise.
Think, “I will take time to go for a walk”. Then do it!
Exercising your body is just as important as a healthy eating. Exercising and moving your body can be as simple as taking a thirty minute walk five times a week. No need to join a Gym or run a mile every day. The most important thing is to do some exercise. No pain no gain is completely untrue! Even if you feel no pain you will gain!
#5: Simply be yourself.
Think at the start of every day, “I am me and I will be who I am whatever others may think”. Then do it!!
Number 5. is not as easy to do as the other four THINK and DO’s. I know this from personal experience but it’s tremendously important for your, self –empowerment and happiness. No matter what anybody else may say about you, simply be yourself, be authentic and do whatever you think is best for you. ( Unless of course you are a completely selfish, mean minded, angry, etc , person). To be angry, you first have to THINK angry, even if you THINK angry you don’t have to DO angry. Your choice!!!
Yes I am telling you what to think. Why? Because, if you don’t control your thoughts they will control you. Thought ‘intelligence/control’ is true self-empowerment, and only you can do it for you !
If you can THINK it you can DO 'IT'. Only you will stop yourself from doing so. It’s your responsibility, whatever ‘IT’ is.
THINKING and DOING any of the above for half a day will reap many benefits for you!
THINK and DO a better life for yourself. It ain’t Rocket Science.
